Review - Fahrenheit 9/11 score: 8.5/10
Let me be the one to kick off this forum. Latest film i've seen is quite a controversial one; Fahrenheit 9/11 from Michael Moore! First , let me state that im not really a fan of Bush's administration (porbably not the only one) and about the way they have been running things lately, specialy invading innoncent countries , lying to the whole world and many other pointless things. Well this movie just proves exactly that! Bush is an incapable president and a very clueless one who has no idea what the heck he's getting himself into and how full of nuts his lies are. Moore with this film shows a realistic point of view of the current president and how corrupt the government is. I wish i could post the full review now, but there's alot of corners to cover, so i will put up the full review tomorrow hopefully!
Hope this does it for now.

Wow, its been a year since i promised putting up the full review of Fahrenheit 9/11 and I Robot. Well i would put it up but i haven't seen those movies in a long time and by now most of you definitely saw them so i wont bother. Although i can add a little something today tough. I'll be posting a short review of "The Machinist" staring fresh from the bat-cave , Mr. Christian Bale.
The Machinist score 9/10 if not 10/10
First off let me start by saying that I'm a fan of Bale's work , i enjoyed all his performances i got to watch, from being an American Psycho , a cold-no-feeling fighting weapon (Equilibrium) to a Dark Knight , he played them all very realistically. This leads me to my next point. I really admire about Christian that he's one of a kind actor, very charismatic and charming yet has this darkness and mystery about him that makes you wonder what he's going to do next. Well this movie without any exception is among those performances. He stopped eating and got scarily thin to portray Trevor Reznik. He's what we call a method actor which is what made this movie the more realistic and appealing. His character is very mysterious and enigmatic just like the plot of the film. One could compare this film to "One Hour Photo" both in style and storytelling. You don't know what the deal is with the man until about the end of the film. The flow is great and the isolation and craze of Trevor is played out perfectly. There's a lot of conspiracy and mind games perceived by Trevor in this film which makes up for a very intriguing movie. I really could go on, but i don't want to spoil anything for anyone. I think best i could describe it is a mix between Memento/One Hour Photo. I hope this helps. If you have a chance like me, pick up the DVD and watch it in glorious 16:9 widesreen! This is his best performance yet beating out Batman and Equilibrium. This is my point of view for the film , if you've seen it, drop a little review along the way, one is never enough!

Ichii the killer A review.
"What the hell was that" will probably be the phrase you'll think about through out the movie. Really you will, if you have not left the room by the first two scene. The Sick, twisted, hardcore, gory mind of takashi miike is pulling every trick in the book to make people uncomfortable, the spotlight in set on physical, graphic pain. The mind is left to roam and think about what is right and wrong.
That philosophical question is echoed through out the movie "what is right and what is wrong?" In a world where nothing is right can anything be wrong? (It's like the idea "there's no crime where there's no law"). So there's a guy that has a sado/maso steel and cut fetish that likes to stab people repeatedly with huge needles looking desperately for his lover and boss a man called Anjo. The guy on the box cover that's not even Ichii. Rapes, decapitations, gratuitous violence all that and awkward sex as the cherry on this Sunday of love. That's truly the soul of this movie love and all what a man will do for his love ones.
If you liked it, would like to have more information on Ichii or simply blood turns you on (you sick bastards) well you can also check out Ichii's anime film, which is a prequel, or read the books even sicker then anything. In this movie the physical aspect of pain was the "cornerstone" of the story, but in Miike's Visitor Q will make you look for mental help. Takashi Miike's work will leave a mark on the people who watch
The tag line reads "love really hurt", if anything is representative of love in this movie it's definitely pain. And yes that's real semen.
A 7.9 only because it's sometimes too sick, if there was anything close to a "fluff" movie that would be it... Or if you like blood 9.

hi, everyone, newbie here. well my 2 cents on narnia. i think it's a let down when you think it gonna blow you away. story wise... it's a kid story. you don't see the prophecy; how important the 4 kids to stay together for narnia, how great atlanta is and how powerful the blark magic of the snow queen is. the great battle scene we have got used to it. nothing mind bogging for a pure fantasy movie. i think it is getting harder and harder to "wow" us nowadays.

Hey, glad to have you onboard! Nowadays studios hype movies os much that they give away pretty much everything in teasers and trailers. Then its also hard to live up to it because they showed to much.

16 blocks
First off, this movie is definitely one of the best movie of this spring. The story puts in play an old alcoholic cop, a junkie who seen too much and the whole entire corrupt police department of New York. It's a normal day for Jack Mosley, played by Bruce Willis, until he has to escort Eddie Bunker a junkie how has to testify against a few of New York's worst, portrayed by Mos Def.
Hilarity ensues as they both have to dodge cops, bullets, swat teams and even traffic. Die hard 3 copie? Hardly.
The acting was amazing. When a actor is so good at becoming a character that he makes you clinch your fist in rage, you know your watching true cinema. By that I mean Mos def performance was so good and intense as an annoying babbling junkie that he made me want to drop kick him to sunday (Los-Da and Bobby can testify on that). Everyone elses job is done fine, Bruce's work as an mangy police officer is great.
Fine entertainment full of suspense and action, it would be hard to find any one how doesn't enjoy this movie.
An 8.75 out of 10.

V For Vendetta
I was skeptic about the whole "Wachowski bros." thing. I mean I've seen the 2 other matrices and they do disapoint, specially the end of the third. Ultraviolet, Aeon Flux and friends spoild the action genre for me. I did let my prejudice cloud my judgement but through time and trial Bobby and Los-Da convinced me to see it. And it trew me back in my chair.
I know this may sound redundent but I always mean it, the acting was great. Hugo Weaving performence as a valorous villan only knowed as V, is simply gorgious something we rarely see in an action movie. The action in this movie is suddle, not too "I can dodge bullets"-ish, V is no wuss he takes the bullets and still dishes out a good line.
Story wise well, character in a Guy Fawkes mask goes on a vendetta on the people responsible for horrible acts, hillarity ensues when he unleash the fury of a well thought out vengence.
A 8 on 10 I would see it again just for V's dialog.

Certainly mate, get it while it's hot. A flowing cap is way cooler on the silver screen.

Jackass Number Two
God d***, that was funny. That's straight from the heart, I wanted that movie to never end(and so other people in the theater). And that's the point of this movie a global unifying experience, what's more social then laughter and pain? Everybody feels pain and everybody has laughed at least once in there lives. It one of those movies, that regroups, unites, creates bonds...Fantastic movie no plot just some plain old good times, definitely a cult movie that will be seen 40 years from now as an homage to the human body, pain and youth.
Don't see it, if you expect an intellectual movie you're at the wrong place and you are pretty dumb to think a movie named "Jackass" will ever give you some enlightenment. So for the pompous crowd out there, stay at home.
9 on 10 k's on kikuchiyo's spacial K's top 10.
